Fully automatic 7'' touchscreen controller for different sample sizes (100x200 mm, 150x300 mm 160x320 mm and All core samples ranging from 38 mm to 100 mm)
The device is displacement controlled so the user can see actual abrasion displacement in steps from 0.5 mm to 1.5 mm. Abrading characteristics can be set in a single operation. Ready to use method-based software.
Once the abrasion process is completed, this device can be automatically cleaned (washed) at the end of the day. The number of abraded specimens can be recorded in the device's memory. The diamond blade's lifespan can be automatically recorded. In terms of performance, the device can complete the abrasion process for 3 specimens of 100x200 mm and 2 specimens of 150x300 mm in 62 seconds (this time may decrease to 60 seconds depending on the sample surface). Software update feature according to the need of the user.
An surface flatness control device (optional) can be connected with this system, allowing the touchscreen on the device to control specimen surfaces with a precision of 0.01 degrees. During the abrasion process, features such as time, step count, total (mm), remaining (mm), and diamond blade directional movements can be easily monitored on the screen. All mechanical components on the device, including linear guides, linear bearings, slides, and rails, do not come into contact with water. This design ensures that issues such as rust and deterioration will not occur. Direct drive system without any external shaft assembly. This eliminates potential problems like changing an external shaft (diamond blade) in the future.
Drainage outlets for dirty water are appropriately sized to minimize problems such as blockages and accumulation. The device operates with 220 VAC-50 Hz electricity.
