PGE-136 Series

Water Bath

Water Baths are engineered with a focus on temperature uniformity, safety, and reliability, which makes them ideal for biomedical, life science, industrial, and food and wine testing applications.

Available in 6, 15, 30, and 48-litre capacities, they feature precision digital PID control with a digital display for easy temperature monitoring and adjustment. A protective, perforated tray sits above the heated floor to protect your samples from directly contacting the heater. Convenient carry handles assist with moving the bath if needed. All baths feature a simple-to-use drain. Main body is made from corrosion protected mild steel with an epoxy powder coated finish.

The inner tank is made from grade 304 stainless steel for exceptional corrosion resistance. The inner tank is made with rounded corners for easy cleaning.

Our water baths are equipped with safety features such as over-temperature protection, which shuts off the heating element if the temperature exceeds a set limit, ensuring the safety of both samples and the device.

The unit is designed as a compact laboratory heating device with a temperature operating range from ambient temperature +5 °C up to 99.9 °C, controlled through a PID microprocessor-based control system to ensure stable and precise thermal regulation. Temperature measurement is carried out using a PT100 temperature sensor, providing a display resolution of 0.1 °C for accurate monitoring. The system includes an adjustable timer from 1 minute to 99.9 hours with hold function, as well as a delayed start timer adjustable between 1 minute and 99.9 hours, enabling flexible programming for laboratory processes.

The equipment is available in four different chamber capacities: 6 L, 15 L, 30 L, and 48 L, allowing selection according to laboratory throughput requirements. Power consumption varies by model, rated at 900 W for the 6 L and 15 L units, 1500 W for the 30 L model, and 2000 W for the 48 L model, all operating on a 220 V, 50 Hz power supply. The internal chamber is manufactured from corrosion-resistant stainless steel, ensuring durability and hygienic operation, while the external housing is constructed from electrostatic powder-coated steel for enhanced mechanical strength and long-term protection.

Internal chamber dimensions are 29 × 14 × 25 cm (6 L), 29 × 23 × 25 cm (15 L), 49 × 29 × 25 cm (30 L), and 49 × 61 × 20 cm (48 L).
